It's a boy! Little Thomas was born on May 1 at 6:58 pm. He weighed 7lbs 3 oz and was 19 1/4 in. long. The labor wasn't too long or bad and we only had a little problem with the epidural, other than that Thomas popped right out - literally. Less than 24 hours after the little guy was born we were on our way home. We couldn't wait to see Sydney and introduce her to her new brother. She had a little bit of a rough time at first but is already doing great with the new addition. She is a great big sister and offers him her sippy all of the time and tries to share her food. We can't wait to watch them interact more and more.
So far, he has adjusted so well to life in this big world. He sleeps a lot and thankfully that includes the nightime. He only wakes up once or twice to eat. We are praying he keeps that up. I'm sure we'll be writing lots more later but we wanted to update everybody on our new perfect little addition.

Congratulations!!!! I was wondering when we were going to hear some news! Glad things went so smoothy and quick:) and that he is here safe and sound! Can't wait to talk to you.... He is a cutie!

Congrats! Young T is looking good, as are mommy and of course Sydney's growing up to be a real cutie, just like her aunts and cousins! Good work!
I'm glad I was told about the blog... now I can check up on my favorite Olson niece and cool new nephew!
