Where did we move to?

So Laura went out to lunch with her mom on a Saturday afternoon. They ended up in downtown Pagosa. It was bustling. Laura rounded the corner on Main Street to find 2 horses prancing down the street. Where did we move to?
It turns out that it doesn't snow every day for 5 months straight as we originally thought. It's beautiful and we are beginning to love it. We have taken up snowshoeing and it seems to be our new favorite passtime and we feel so hardcore mountainy doing it. Not quite as hardcore as the ice fishermen that we see out our window each day hovering over some hole in the lake. Where did we move to?
We found our favorite restaurant in Pagosa. We finally had a date night because Laura's parents were in town. We dressed up and walked into the swanky restaurant. There we sat, Tom dressed up and Laura in her high heels surrounded by people in snow pants and fleeces. Where did we move to?
All that aside, we are settling in. Sydney is loving her gymnastics class and is mastering the balance beem and of course the "bounce-a-line". She makes everybody smile with her two floppy ponytails singing at the top of her lungs while she prances around. She loves craft time that she does with Laura everyday and enjoys playing with "pluto" (playdough).
TJ is getting ready to walk. He's learned to climb up the stairs and seems to roll down them really well too - thanks to his big sister. He is such a cool dude. He loves to smile and laugh and is quite the little chunk. We have the greatest kids ever - I say that right now but 5:30 in the morning it's a different story.
The church is going great. God is answering prayers left and right. The church is growing and we had 12 people become new members this month! God is working and we are so excited to be a part of it.

Glad to see you are adjusting to life as a mountain woman! (I love the CO rockies) I have to laugh because 10 years ago I would have forseen me in the mountains and you on the beach... Funny how God doesn't always go the road we think, but it still all turns out so awesome IF we follow His plan!!!
