Change Has Arrived

Change is often something many of us don't enjoy but it is something we must all face. Change is good if you don't think in terms of the Presidents type of change. Change has come rapidly to the Olson's in Pagosa Springs.

First Laura had her birthday. She is now even more wonderful and even more of a hottie! The kids even gave her the title of "GREATEST MOM EVER". Sorry all you mothers but take heart "Goodest Mom Ever" is still available.

Suki our 12 year old Sheepdog was put down in March. This is a picture of her on her last day. T is giving her one of his hugs. We really miss Sheepie but know Grandpa and PopPops are enjoying her now.

Change keeps coming. Though we lost our puppy, a new one was given to us. Meet Sprocket the Miniature Schnauzer. Yes, we now have a little dog...not that there is anything wrong with it...maybe there is. Anyway, someone from church gave us this little 7 month old guy. TJ just loves him. They do everything together. Once they hooked up we couldn't say no. Tom still thinks there's another Sheepdog in the future, at least that's what he's praying for.

The kids veiw on the world has changed. We took the kids to the aquarium in Denver and I've never seen eyes become so big. The kids never have seen such fish in real life. Sharks were a big hit, Tigers and so were the Otters. From the look on Tom and Sydney's faces I think they fear the Tiger's going to get them. Laura is as cool as ever while T could care less. Maybe he's looking at a kid with candy.

More change still. We've moved. We have new digs. We have a palace on 5 wooded acres. We now have a short commute to church. We now have a workshop for Tom to do his thing. We now have an efficient house. God is good.

Change at the church has been great. We are now having to start new classes for children. Laura had 9 in preschool last week and the week before we had 14. It is growing. Easter was a blessing and we are looking forward to expanding in more areas of ministry. Please pray for discernment on what direction we need to take. This is a very unusual community to do ministry. Winters are so hard people don't want to be tied down in the summer...And we understand!

Change is good especially when it's SPRING! PRAISE GOD THE WINTER IS OVER!!!
